I am interested in buying the Sony Ericsson W580 and need to no if there is any difference between the W580 and the W580i.

Well you did say any answers welcome……
I looked around the Sony Ericsson sites for the US, United Kingdom and Romania expecting to find an answer but all I could find was info for the W580i. I suspect the W580 is an earlier model and manufacturer discontinued. You might try the link below and look at the different country sites and see if you can find them or you might try calling their Customer Support @ 866-766-9374 for the US or 08705 23 7237 for the United Kingdom.
You could check out Cnet’s site to see if they have info or perhaps ask a sales rep at AT&T or Verizon or whoever sells these phones.
