To (bigpizza112 ), As you already know others were talking about the number of Sony Android phones. Regardless, you total of 7 was still incorrect. In the US, the total right now is 13 Android cellphones. According to Google on 2010-02-16 , there are 26 world wide. Check androidcompare dott com. Visit their ‘carrier’ tab. Their news tab shows timeline of some older phone announcement.

You need to find the IMEI# by typing *#06# on screen on cell phone you want unlocked…it will display 15 numbers, we also need to know if you have ATT, etc, and what kind of phone you have….Blackberry 8310, etc. Model number is under battery. Thanks for feedback. Might give it a miss unless the reviews are stellar. The HTC desire. might be a better option. Prefer android to HD2s winmo and HTC have had a lot of experience with android by now.
@cretan981 Btw, the black camera, up to the right looks, very, very black, and destroys the joy of this phones “Sleek” design. And the earpiece looks like an old Nokia… oh my god. Learn from HTC. Look at the HD2 eapiece.
@cretan981 Oh and the last thing that just puts the x10 into RIP is the fact that the screen is of plastic…. A premium phones display of plastic…. I’m gonna have fun watching how keys will carve themselves into the x10′s. Glass though will resist almost everything!
@cretan981 And second. the design is sleek??? A square black fat box is sleek for you? Just look at Nexus One or HTC desire. They are both rounded of, and extremely thin. 13mm is bad. My old touch diamond is 11mm. and so are HD2 Nexus one and Desire.
btw htc has done 7 android phones and sony ericsson has made 1.
And to make it worse, x10 costs more when it has Donut version of android (1.6) and 200mb less RAM. And nexus one has AMOLED and Dual microphones. Just stop worshipping them.
@cretan981 Dude, what is your proof that the camera is better than the nexuses??? I mean. what’s your evidence that x10′s 8.1mp camera is better than an system cameras 6mp??? Hahaha. MEGA pixels. 8 million pixel camera. And the screen? Nowhere near that amount. So you have to throw out the half of the pixels. x10 takes pictures in 3264×2448 pixels. which equals 7 990 272, which aint 8.1 megas.
and the screen? 480×854, equals 409 920 pixels. So you would need roughly an 80 inch screen to fit.

It’s not chubby. 13mm. Design is very sleek and solid imo. Not sure the ram has been anncd. Os will be updated next qtr i believe.
I prefer it to the nexus because of the camera and slick skin but it’s close between x10, htc desire and nexus.

it has twice the RAM. It has text to speech, it has AMOLED. it has dual microphones, it has updates through the air… And the web is flooded with x10 PREVIEW units because they decided to release it 7 MONTHS after the announce…
they worked 7 months with time scape. android os was already there.
and nexus one has android 2.1. x10 has 1.6
so sure if you want to buy a chubby square black box then buy x10. Otherwise buy Nexus One
