I am very happy with my HTC hero except for the battery life which is a disappointing. But this replacement battery does extend battery life to a more reasonable length especially with a bit of application management to ensure that applications used are closed completely after use (get a kill application in the market place). So now I get a good 2 days which I guess is accepatable although as a former RIM user I still find disappointing.

With the Sprint CDMA Hero, it took weeks to finally see improvement. Originally it would last somewhere between 4 to 6 hours normal use.Must be patient. It was painful because at first it wouldn’t last a regular work shift. Now that its 4 weeks old, I am getting between 14-16 hours on my Sprint Hero. I have 3g/Ev-do Wireless always on, some Blue-tooth and occasional hour or two of Wi-Fi use within a charge cycle. It has to be conditioned up to the point of performing with multiple charge and Complete discharge cycles. Android “Battery Left”widget app reporting 20:14min usable time.I’m starting week 5. I will continue testing to see if I can actually pull that off as real world usable time.This is the greatest time its ever reported for this battery as of yet.

Seidio has some nice accessories and this battery is no exception. The battery works as promised although I cannot tell any difference in run time from the OEM version. Works fine though and I generally am able to get around 1 – 2 days run time with my usage. Good price compared to purchasing directly from Seidio.
