LG expected to unveil Android Honeycomb tablet at CES
Reports on the internet are saying that LG Electronics will officially take the wraps of its much rumored tablet at CES this week. The tablet is expected to run Google’s Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system. Connect with ovens, fridges & washing machines LG Electronics’ Thinq technology will allow smartphones and tablets to control and communicate with some of the company’s home appliances, including ovens, refrigerators, washing machines and a robotic vacuum cleaner, the company announced on Monday.

LG faces Sony’s patent complaint
Sony Corp. has filed a patent infringement complaint against LG Electronics Inc. and its U.S. subsidiaries with the U.S. International Trade Commission, saying LG’s mobile phones and modems step on proprietary technology including photo-based caller ID.
