HTC Multifunction Audio Adapter for HTC Touch T-Mobile G1 Shadow II Wing Sprint Mogul AT&T Tilt

Ordered from Wireless Emporium, it came in a plastic bag. Plugged it in, plugged in my headphones, no sound. I checked every setting, reset the phone several times, I work at Google and have the dev version of this phone with current OS updates.

Don’t bother buying this. It used to work great but is not supported after installation of Cupcake (version 1.05 of the Android OS).

The Good
Charge phone while using the headphone jack
Quality construction
Inexpensive
The Bad
Stiff cable
The fact that you need to use it. The decision to not include a headphone jack is nothing more than an attempt to get their customers to spend even more money on crappy accessories.

a bit unwieldly, but used to work just great until i got cupcake. now the audio on the 3.5 mm output doesn’t work. HTC doesn’t care and t-mobile told me to buy a new jack. do not buy this.

I have the same problem as the person above wrote. The 3.5mm jack does not work. I have the sprint mogul and have not had any problems with other stereo adaptors in the past. This one is a piece of junk. I suggest you just get the simple HTC 3.5mm Headset Stereo/Mono Adapter instead.
