I need a cable and the software. My computer is Vista though.The siemens web site does not mention which cable I need.

You need a DCA-540 cable. I think the only place you’ll find it now is ebay since the phone is relatively old. You won’t be able to do much with the phone though. I think you can only sync the phonebook and add polyphonic ringtones on the phone.
