I know what you are thinking, the Onyx comes with a case so why is this relevant? Well I got drunk and lost my case at the club, that is how it’s relevant. I have a habit of whipping it out more than Pee Wee Herman at a cinema duplex and when the phone was in my pocket the case fell off my belt.
I did some research online and was going to buy a new case from the official blackberry website but they were charging $30 plus shipping. Uhhh no.
On the website, it says that the 9700 case is actually the 8520 case, so I searched Amazon for the 8520 case. This is the least descriptive product with the least reviews but it is also the least expensive, very recession friendly even if it is almost over so I figured, why not. It is only $7 so if it ends up being the wrong case, I won’t supersize my order at McDonalds a couple times to break even. Plus, i trust the guys over at Eforcity coz they usually deliver quality for cheap ime.
I got it in the mail today and I am 90% sure that this is the case that comes with the 9700 anyways. It fits great. I’d strongly reccomend it for 9700 users as well, I hear the UK 9700 doesn’t come with this pouch so if you like it, what is $7?
